Boost Shine & Eliminate Dirt on Equipment With SWASHEQUIPMENT™

Posted by FarmLab Innovations on Jul 17, 2019

Are you involved in applications where dust build-up is problematic? Does dust or debris build up on areas of your equipment where airflow is restricted? Or are you simply seeking a product that will repel dust and dirt to improve the cleanliness and appearance of your equipment?

We talk a lot about how SWASHEQUIPMENT can be used on tractors, trucks, cars, and combines. But in reality, this revolutionary product can be applied to all kinds of other surfaces after cleaning your vehicles or equipment (in fact, it is even safe to apply on all painted surfaces and glass!) to boost shine and eliminate dust, dirt, and debris build-up.

How Does SWASHEQUIPMENT™ ACTUALLY WORK?

SWASHEQUIPMENT improves the ability to clean and disinfect your equipment by creating a wax type finish, gloss, and shine when applied. This anti-stat coating minimizes the attraction of foreign matter and prevents the build-up of dust, dirt, and debris, while also extending surface protection and inhibiting the formation of organic films.

What does this translate to for you? Increased sanitation levels and an improved appearance for your equipment, in addition to saving time, energy, and money that would typically be required of additional cleanings.

What Industries Could Benefit From Utilizing SWASHEQUIPMENT™?

The honest answer? Any industry that utilizes vehicles or other equipment that requires frequent cleaning could benefit from utilizing this product. SWASHEQUIPMENT can help you keep that equipment looking cleaner, longer by repelling dust, dirt, and debris — but it can also help keep the equipment running safely and properly, without the potentially hazardous build-up that could cause overheating or even fires.

For example, Anthony Philyaw of Tony's Lawnscapes and Pressure Washing said that he began using SWASHEQUIPMENT after being let down by every other product he had tried thus far. Using this product, Anthony is able to clean the underside of his lawn mower deck every two weeks instead of every week. “It is the best product I have tried so far,” he said.

Hay balers can also see a tremendous benefit from using SWASHEQUIPMENT. Hay cannot be baled when wet, so when it is baled dry, it gets exceptionally dusty. There's a lot of friction involved in the baling process, and it's not uncommon for there to be a fire hazard in that environment as well. We are seeing  a growing number of customers using SWASHEQUIPMENT™ on hay baling equipment for that reason.

The same goes for many types of mills. For example, in a feed mill, they are frequently grinding grain and a lot of dust is created by flour, seed, and more. There are often regulations about how much dust can be on hand rails and other surfaces, and SWASHEQUIPMENT can help to eliminate that. Alternatively, in a textile mill such as a cotton mill, a tremendous amount of dust is generated when they work with dry fibers, which can be mitigated with the use of SWASHEQUIPMENT.

Jimmy Windham of Sawdust Unlimited, on the other hand, uses SWASHEQUIPMENT™ on the spreader trucks he uses to apply PLT in poultry houses. He said that since using this product, his “trucks stay cleaner, with easier washing.”

SWASHEQUIPMENT has recently been used in Canada on robot milking machines in dairies making them much more efficient to clean, resulting in time and labor savings as well.
